It's absolutely ridiculous that these old stadiums are being knocked down...and for what I may ask? More overpriced condos? This happened in the US with some old great baseball stadiums...they were replaced with generic stadiums that had no soul and corporate names like "Guaranteed Rate Field" (<--I kid you not, that is the name of what used to be the pride of the south side of Chicago, Comiskey Park).
edit: I should add, however, that it is a great story!
