As a season ticket holder based in London, I always book my train tickets well in advance to get the best deals which occasionally means that when sky decide to move the game to Monday night I end up having to purchase a different return which isn't the end of the world but what is bad is that I have to stay in my cousins bed at my uncles who are all RS and as you can imagine, my 12 year old cousin has a signed shirt above the bed and the bed linen is all of the RS.

Still i woke up yesterday morning really excited, got the bus to the underground station, for my short journey to paddington, met some fulham fans who at 06:45 were already on the stella - respect!

Arrived at Paddington to only realise that i booked the swansea tickets for the bloody 29th and not the 22nd which is when i had bought tickets for the southampton game. F*********k.

I had to put me best charming voice on and see what the girl at the ticket counter would do for me bearing in mind tickets on the day are going for the best part of £90 quid (i had paid £66 for first class - same price as standard class).

Fortunately for £38 i was downgraded and on my way and I was in a carriage with some other dedicated Evertonians.

Arrived at Swansea a bit pissed with myself for being a dumb ass, but made my way to the bookies feeling particularly confident considering that the only game I missed this season so far was West Brom and as i only started going to goodison last season from the chelsea game I regard myself as our very own lucky charm (not a mascot so no dressing up as some kind of chicken or thundercat).

While looking at the odds (i knew we would win for sure) I thought the odds were particularly favourable so I thought [Poor language removed] it. In for a penny and all that.

Well what a great game, a great crowd, and a great result.

£20 win on Everton at 25/1
£50 win on Everton to win at 7/5
£20 for Everton to be winning at Half time AND Full time @10/3
£20 for Everton ti win with Swansea giving a handicap of an extra goal at 4/1

Overall I won £826 so thankyou to Moyes and his merry men. I will be buying the rest of my train tickets today but this time checking the bloody dates.

One of the many reason why I love Everton FC.

"we go to the match, thats what us Evertonians do".
