I always go back to the older films as I suppose things were more scary when you are younger. Most of this lot I'd seen by the time I was 7ish. I had crap parents...

The Fog
Amityville 1 and 2
American werewolf in London
Halloween 1 and 2
The Exorcist

THREADS - 1984 Nuclear war dramatisation in the uk. Just a kid at the time, about 8, scared the life out of me. Me and a few of my mates couldn’t sleep for a few days after we watching it.

A local hospital had a psychiatric wing and some times rang out something similar to a 3 minute warning siren, testing I presume for if somebody was missing / alarm. We ran home like our lives depended on it if ever it went off.

Knew Freddie Kruger wasn’t real but this was a possibility. Loved the 80’s for the footy but hated this!!! Never watched it again and never been scared of a movie since ...
