What’s your favourite curry?

I’m not doing a poll, coz there’s so many to choose from.

I like most Indian food and have had a few phaals in my time.

Also my favoured dish changes about every fortnight.

But at the moment I’m into a relatively mild one called makanwala.

Chicken Tikka Madras. Still feels like a proper curry without blowing your back doors off.

Chicken jalfrezi and a peshwari naan.

I have this every time I visit a new restaurant just so I have a base line to judge them on.

Sadly in the past few years I've had to wind in on the heat. The mouth still has a high tolerance for it, but the lower bowel acts like it's playing pass the parcel with a hand grenade.

Always been a Sagwala fan myself.
Or a Tikka Chilli Madras if I want something with a bit of kick.

I make a fair few curries at home myself.
Love making Thai Massaman pork curry. With the potatoes and toasted peanuts

Can never make it taste as good as it does over there though!

current fav is Baingan Patiala, which is aubergines & cashew nuts in tomato sauce. love it.
