Well, what is it?

Mine are probably Gorgonzola, Roquefort, Parmesan, mature cheddar and some Swiss cheese I had once with walnuts and apricots in.

But my polish mate says sheeps cheese from the mountain areas of Poland is the best.You cant get it here,it doesn't travel well.

There’s lots of good sheep’s cheese in the UK. Some of the hard ones are great

I could name many favourite cheeses for many occasions or combinations.

If I pick one it would be roquefort served with whisky which is one of my favourite personal treats.
