I miss Crosby, but Ill never go back.
Alaska sounds much better. Crosby is still full of stuffy gobshites who think themselves better than the commoners.
Nothing's changed lol

The only whales I see here are the fattys going to Slimming World on their way to Albert and Jean's chippy

Where in Crosby do you live mate? I grew up on College Road North. Went to St Marys.

Saw this thread title, and it just reminded me of a very funny, but very very inappropriate joke, (different days), involving whales.

The whales are great. But the black bear that lives just behind my backyard in the forest is pain in the ***. He LOVES garbage/rubbish bins and I'm forever cleaning up the neighbours **** from my driveway. I secure mine bins with chains!
Ha Ha I worked out in New Mexico for a while. A local bear always left us a prezzie on our building site in the morning.Don't thiink he liked a house being built near his pad !

Anyone had an experience ?
I ended up in Iceland by chance a few years back and had two trips out. One in Akureyn then this one a couple of weeks later from Husavik. Being in the presence of such incredible creatures is truly humbling and moving. Well chuffed we came across a Blue whale.

You what across a Blue Whale?!!
