I can't take it seriously when I read stuff like "he's not good enough for everton".

All I'm seeing here with this stuff now carping about Martinez is people who thought a few weeks ago they had this manager on the run and nearly had him out the door where they wanted him, and now that's been denied them they're mad as **** about it and won't leave it alone until they can have their way, so they start going on about style of play and how they can't stand being at the game and he has to go.

It's beyond it. Just let it go FFS. Can't we all just enjoy a win without hearing from the remnants of a defeated point of view haunting the forum with their demands for the head on a plate they were denied?

We have two seasons worth of evidence on Martinez, but you choose to highlight the one where we fall off to PL mediocrity to back up a prejudice against the manager.

West Ham fans have always hated it when you call their ground Upton Park mate. The media have only recently started to pander to their whims, mainly because they're moving soon.

Their hard core fans aren't keen on being called the Hammers either and prefer the Irons.
Mate of mine is a lifelong fan and, even though he knows I'm winding him up, goes ape wotsit when I ask "Are the Hammers at Upton Park this weekend then?"
