Player Valuation: £5m
West Ham have confirmed they have reached an agreement over the sale of the Boleyn Ground, which will be completed when the club move into the Olympic Stadium in 2016.

A number of national and international companies had been part of the competitive bidding process for the stadium - also known as Upton Park - but the local Galliard Group have been selected as the purchaser.

So West Ham basically pay £15m towards the upgrading, then £2m a year rent.

And keep the cash made by selling Upton Park.

But then dont own their own stadium.

Would take that deal me. Jammy lot.

What's disgusting is that they're only paying £15m of the £150m cost of converting the stadium for football use.

How the feck has that been deemed to be acceptable to the public purse? As we're picking up the rest of the tab.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven

Because it was either that or let SPurs tear the bloody stadium down

West Ham really were the lesser of two evils

And, it at least can still be used for athletics now as well

Doesnt sound right does it? That rent is outrageous as well. Dont we pay something like that for FF?

Spurs could have done what they liked with it for me, on the proviso they were picking up the tab.

The tax payer effectively funding WHU to the tune of £135m, not even accounting for the £439m the stadium originally cost to build, together with them only paying a paltry £2m per year rent, is an absolute joke. The porn peddlers will move them on for a huge profit directly off the back of this.......
