EITC has nothing to do with it. We should be proud of what EITC does. Hugging to raise money for sick kids is to be commended & doesn’t mean the players have to play like fannies. They do, but totally unrelated.

The EITC team don’t coach the players & the coaches/players don’t decide what EITC does. The more the players interact with the community & the less fortunate the better. You’d think it would ground them & teach them what it means to wear the shirt. Teach them that the bare minimum requirement is 100% effort.

The club are nice losers. They should be going mental about that goal. The FA should be embarrassed. Oliver should be called into question & demoted.
The club are showing us & the players how much they care.

I asked for a firm handshake from Gomes, the club declined so I spent the money on a pint of beer and a copy of Viz. I read it outside in T shirt, it was was raining and -4 degrees.

I didn't notice the rain or the temperature but some wimp with a coat on told me.

Looking at the recent Echo list of deadbeats - in squad terms - hanging around to see out lucrative contracts and the sheer number of them, this has to generate a pall of negativity and general dis-interest at the training ground, on match days and in the likes of WhatsApp groups etc you can be sure the players have ongoing. Most of that lot have seen the manager has no interest in them, as evidenced by his using the same 13-14 players for three months now, even when some of them are dead on their feet.

Until the clear-out reaches deeper, I don't see much room for improvement in the short-term. Patience will be needed.
