haha, great. i use to play on a slanted pitch in junior football similar to the last one from that article. It wasn't as slanted, but lets just say, every team that played didn't use a right winger or left winger depending on which side they were facing. no need as the ball never got that high up the pitch ha.

love the ones by the sea, especially signapore

I'e been to that one in the Faroes, Toftir it is. The weirdest place I've ever been but one of the best day and night on the piss ever.

it's not freds weather map ffs, it wont bob about like a cork, although there could well be sharks below it.

Tehy're like half Viking, half inbred and they love a bevvy. Throw in a couple of hundred Scots that had been drinking all the way up on a chartered fishing boat from Arbroath and it gets a bit mad. Awesomely friendly they are as well.

That Braga one looks strange, no away fans end, just a big mountain with a scoreboard on it. Fack knows why they spent so much money on that.

Ive seen the Singapore one, very strange place to have a football ground, would love to play or watch football there. The dock area where it is situated is a proper nice place aswell

Don't think it is, fella. Toftir is atop a fjord/mountainside, not at the water's edge. I went with Dave the Punk (some on here might know him) when they played Estonia summer 2011 and it was deffo ****ing miles up in the air!

I think that one is Vestmannaeyjar, which I tried to get to but the ground wasn't possible to reach without either a car or trudging over loads of rain-sodden hills. So I sacked it off and went back to Torshavn.
