colonel gaddafi evertonian? http://www.mirror.co.uk/opinion/football-opinion/colonel-gaddafi-everton-fan-plus-3334726

Everton's win against Sunderland will have provided some temporary relief for one of their biggest fans. That's none other than umbrella-wielding mentalist Colonel Gaddafi, who has been following the team since the late 1970s.
Gaddafi's love of the Toffees is said to have begun when Everton visited Libya on tour in 1979. The dictator was so impressed he immediately changed the Libyan national side's kit to all-blue, and rewarded each of Gordon Lee's side with a luxury Arabic carpet.

Rolf Harris began supporting Liverpool all his life when he first had sex with a teenage girl without quite asking whether or not she wanted him to.

Lana Del Ray has supported Liverpool ever since a stray globule of botox somehow drifted from her optic nerve all the way down to her clitoris, hardening it into a sort of penis in the exact same way Brendan Rodgers became a man.

Nelson Mandela became a red that week he thought maybe he was wrong about black people having rights.

Almost every famous celebrity Scouser claims to be a Red. Funny that - especially all those over 65s claiming to follow a team that was pretty sh1. when they were kids. But, you know, bandwagon and titles and European glory soon turns them all, doesn't it?

http://www.stadium-attendances.com/Liverpool,historical,attendances.html

Average attendance Everton 1894-1970 30,949
Average attendance Liverpool 1894-1970 29,007

It wasn't until 1982 that they passed our average attendance.

The Famous Shankly Kop!!
1963-1970
Everton average attendance 45,830
Liverpool average attendance 44,943

So much for "he made the people happy"...

The Shankly Era Myth
1959-1974
Everton Average Attendance 42,477
Liverpool Average Attendance 42,438

It should be revised to read: He made 49.98% of the match-going Scousers happy.

Love these stats mate, nice work.

There are loads and loads of celebrity Hoops* fans.. off the top of my head I can think of Michael Jackson, Gary Glitter and quite a few more who love The Boys. *

* note please I didn't use the usual names for the famous team as I wouldn't want to be accused of slurring them!

Imelda May and Faye from steps are Sunderland fans and married to Sunderland fans. Which is why they are Sunderland fans.
