It's not wrong information though. I never said anything about salt. I was talking about the sugars/water retention pathway. That is a thing.
I mentioned that one cos sugars is the thing cut down most on a clean new diet. Even more so than salt.

The only wrong information here is 'Salt it is mate, not sugar'. Literally wrong information. But if you just posted it as part of the chat I wouldn't have jumped down your throat about it and questioned whether you'd done this for a living. Gah... it's gutting that there's a swear filter on this website 😂
Go on have a swear, its only a warning 😄
And you'll feel better for it, 😁

Too much sugars equals insulin increase. Insulin increase leads to kidneys retaining water. Just trolling on here aren't you mate. Telling everyone what is wrong with their opinions. when you haven't got a clue yourself. Salt also leads to water retention.
Sugar is inbuilt in most foods and the body can process it
In fact, for cycling you've train the body to use carbs efficiently
No trolling here mate just dont want people getting wrong information

Salt is also vital for those doing a lot of endurance training as we lose salts through sweat.

That's why a balanced diet with lots of protein from proper foods and not just one type or protein shakes is needed
