Weekenders.

Hi GOT Travel Club, I'm looking at doing a little weekend away with a couple of the lads next month.

Got to fly from Speke and have narrowed it down to either Berlin or Krakow.

Anyone been, any recommendations, and if anyone knows any other decent weekend routes out of Liverpool let a brother know.

I loved Berlin. Architecture is fabulous. Lot's of history


I've heard the nightlife is good too. And you get German beer.

Never been to either myself but some Norwegian friends of mine organize for Norwegian medical students to do their studies at Krakow University. They go over regularly and love it. Very nice and very cheap. And being a university city there should be lots of nubile medical students who need to catch up on there 2nd year anatomy during the summer or risk losing their grants. Offer to lend your body. Strictly for study purposes of course

Right that's one each then, ta for your input. The history of Berlin is a major pulling point, along with the bier, bratwurst and fine fraulines. Krakow does seem pretty too and much more economical for a weekend of much beer. Although I've heard the girls are a wee bit harder to kiss.

I went to Berlin during winter. Cold as fcuk. You really couldn't stay out long or just go out.

I imagine it'd be a lot nicer in the Summer.

Although, i'm probably just saying all that cause i've been there. Krakow sounds nice.

Also, my judgement may be clouded by the fact that I went there with some very pretty girls
