I decided, for two reasons, that I would place a bet on Liverpool winning the league after city winning against villa.
The first reason is I never win a bet. Therefore I am effectively surrendering my money to ensure they don't win the league. Easy decision.
The second reason is that if by some fluke they do win it, which is completely out of my hands, I get financial reward. Perhaps enough to escape the city for a few days when they have their party.
My reason for posting this is to help anyone else thinking the same. I got 16-1 for them to win the league with bet 365. I have since discovered that you can get better odds backing a Liverpool win and West Ham win double, which is the exact scenario required (barring some 15 nil win and draw) for the shlte to win it.
