A similar theme to the @summerisle funeral songs thread, what was your first dance song at your wedding, or what would it be of you're not married, foolishly want to remarry or are having a naked humanist ceremony at the next full moon?

This was ours btw

I'd have been happy with Spinal Tap's Sex Farm

On the Nick Cave theme, we had "The Ship Song" at the ceremony.

First Dance was:

Eh? Dance at a wedding. We had a ham salad dinner at Batley park cafe, a few speeches, then all went home. I think it was a bit different in 1959. lol

Wedding first dance songs? What even is that?
For anybody contemplating wedlock my advice would be Registry Office, you, her and 2 witnesses. Bish bash bosh and out for a couple of pints. ;)
Save the ££££££ because I guarantee they'll be needed later.

Actually, strike that. For anybody contemplating wedlock, why? I mean just living together was very much frowned on in my day, but it's perfectly acceptable now. So why do people get married these days? Is it down to tax advantages or something? Surely it's nothing more than an out dated 'tradition' now unless your devoutly religious and don't wish to live 'in sin' lol
