I'm getting hitched come August and need to find another 10k (yay large scouse family, and also Asian style wedding due to welsh/Pakistani other half).
I have a meeting with my Natwest manager on Monday re: Loan but surely I should look at 0% credit cards?
I can stitch people back together but, financially I'm clueless- I've never earned enough to pay it much attention, but haven't had to be frugal since student days.
Clever people of GOT please help!
Don't get married yada yada..

Delay til saved in cash

Or try sawdust for the confetti

Sorry mate I'm being an anus here but both your suggested options are really poor financial choices long term

That said weddings are only as good as you and the guests make them, so godspeed and best of luck

The credit card deals at 0% are for balance transfers mate.

It depends on how quick you intend paying off the debt as to which route is the best option

Pay it back over a year really. I'll just have to locum my ass off to pay it back. It could be done in 10 extra weekends on current locum rates but not if the pay for senior registrars gets capped at £25-35/hr
