Toffeelover

Player Valuation: £80m
I had Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. I had to remove Firefox because nearly every time I used that browser immediately after I selected a web page I had a pop up telling me Flash player was out of date and needed to be updated. In fact mine is upto date. Even using the back arrow to get back to the web page did not work this pop up just kept popping up. I removed Firefox and reinstalled, this did not work. So I have totally removed.

I just have Chrome ( Chroe does not get the pop up!)now and wondered what you are using to access the internet. Can anyone recommend a browser as I like to have two available.

Cheers

Isn't safari for macs? I use chrome and never had any issues. That flash player update happens to me sometimes, check your control panel to check that there isn't any adware or browser plugin that's running.

Thanks I will have a look at Safari.

Safari for Windows isn't supported at all, don't waste your time with it.

Depending on need, I'd recommend Chrome with Opera/Firefox as the backup. IE is actually the better performing browser overall but I just hate it.

I've noticed FF has been really flaky after the last couple of upgrades, been using it for years. Did some browsing with IE for the first time in ages the other day and I've got to say I was quite impressed, dunno if I'd use it permanently if Mozilla don't sort FF out though.

Safari only because I like the way the screen swipes across and stuff. It just isn't the same with Chrome. It does crash from time to time though.
