Welcome back Wayne
Stevie Me, who was 1 year old when Bill died, now goes on about how they owed a victory over United to the great man............

They really do the sympathy and heart strings bit well don't they. No one knows when Harry Catterick died or how old he was, no one knows when Matt Busby was born or would have celebrated his 100th.......yet the cretins who have turned our city into 'sympathy city' once again turn on the waterworks and manage to turn a football match into yet another memorial.......I give up...really I do.......

"I might add that I count Everton amongst the clubs who have welcomed me over the last few seasons. I have been received more warmly by Everton than I have been by Liverpool.

It is scandalous and outrageous that I should have to write these things about the club I helped to build into what it is today, because if the situation had been reversed I would have invited people to games"

©Bill Shankly.
they loved him so much

What's the difference between a cow and a tragedy ?
Liverpool fans don't know how to milk a cow...

That is so true it's unbelievable.

We owe it to Shankley to push a wall on people and get every club in England banned from Europe then take zero blame for it and blame Chelsea

I have to agree, I just didn't see the relevance & it was all a bit cringe tbh.

They owed it to him to sing Munich songs and make aeroplane gestures to a club who's manager and players he will have known and probably been friends with at the time.
