Years ago I was driving down the road with a guy from work, he’d just finished a burger and coke or something similar, he then opened his packet of cigs, opened the window and launched the whole lot out the window at 70 mph. Imagine his surprise when I pulled over, kicked his arse out the door and told him if he didn’t go find it, pick it up and bring it back to the car he’d be walking home. He couldn’t believe I was being serious, he finally went and got most of it, never threw anything else outLittering. People just leaving stuff everywhere. Had a walk around Stanley Park yesterday and the litter is a disgrace especially down by the pond. Those that are good enough to leave their stuff on the floor now seem to hang it in a carrier bag off the railings which is nice of them. Absolute scruffs. It's not just a Liverpool thing. Across the country it happens. I remember a couple getting off the train somewhere between Birmingham and Liverpool, they were sat opposite me at a table and got up leaving sandwich wrappers, drink bottles amongst other stuff all over the table. They weren't young either. I'd have a couple of beers so took a headphone out and asked are they going to take their sh*t? The woman kicked off haha. The fella took the stuff in the end to be fair out of embarrassment or to shut his missus up I don't know.
People just don't seem to give a toss about others or how their actions can cause dis-comfort for others. not everyone of course but a lot have this "As long as I'm alright jack" attitude and it makes me feel sick. This Covid stuff is seriously highlighting the absolute selfishness and narrow mindedness of people. One lad in a whats-app group I'm on from a stand-do a few years back had Covid in the summer, keeps saying it wasn't even that and and brags that he just does what he wants now because he's had it so cant have it again. I've bit my tongue with him as he is a mate of a mate but he is one horrible piece of work. No reasoning with selfish people.
Tbh, I’ve generally found England to be one of the better countries regarding litter. I’d imagine Scandinavia and north Europe to no be such scruffs but Southern Europe is piglet central. Also every developing country I’ve been to is strewn with litter. I’ve put this down to them not having the infrastructure there to deal with it and for many places, food packaging is a relatively new concept.Littering. People just leaving stuff everywhere. Saw a lad I worked with do this once but said nothing as he’d have beaten me to pieces.Years ago I was driving down the road with a guy from work, he’d just finished a burger and coke or something similar, he then opened his packet of cigs, opened the window and launched the whole lot out the window at 70 mph. I've seen a lot of the world and (aside from 3rd world countries) from experience the UK is easily one of the worst. Any litter you see dropped in southern European countries is obviously an english holidaymakers doing.Tbh, I’ve generally found England to be one of the better countries regarding litter. Ive worked in travel and tourism all my life, and I find the English are the most respectful. The worst travelers/tourists are Americans. No question.Disrespect of other people's culture abroad.
When I was in NZ, i played 5 a side with this guy, he was so laid back, laughing joking etc.Being overly aggressive
