We need to talk about England fans.

Should England be banned from a tournament or two?

England home games should be played behind closed doors and no Rngland fans allowed at away games. Keep that measure in place maybe for the entire World Cup qualifying campaign.

Farce really.
The “fans” who went aren’t really fans, they were idiots jumping on a bandwagon.

Was lucky enough to go to the games in the aeuros ans it was brilliant, but you knew that Final was going to go wrong.

Met so many without tickets who were going to chance it.

The proper fans miss out because some pissed low IQ idiots can’t behave and act like normal people.

Went to the Wales v England match in Euro 2016, we had tickets for the neutral section which was mobbed with England fans.

I had hung our Welsh flag which had Llundain (London in Welsh) where we now live, embroidered across it, over the balcony.

Just before kick off a crew of paralytic Cockney England fans arrived and hung their flag next to ours and immediately burst into a hastily composed ditty, suggesting that everyone from Llundain was a sheep bothering deviant.

They were somewhat perplexed when we enthusiastically joined them and then kept repeating their choral composition.

Shame about the result…..

Who cares? England are crap and pointless till a tournament, I’d just remove international all together. 90% of games are a complete waste of time

The security setup for the final was embarrassing to the point of negligence. Ticketless fans should have never been near the inner cordon.

A dispersal zone, 1 mile around the stadium should have been in operation in theory, where you needed to have proof of residence or a match ticket.

Shambolic. Yes, the "fans" were idiots, but there were problems against Denmark and no one did anything to fix that? Police showing lack of effort again.

I think there needed to be punishment but as you said it is the real fans, the actual humans that suffer because of these morons.

The big issue with that punishment is that the morons will not give a crap, they will be too busy regaling stories of how clever they were, how amazing they were to do what they did.

Spot on mate, the morons who don't actually care outside of the final won't really care that they're missing a Nations League game. No doubt they'll see a nice game away to Germany and start doing Nazi salutes, and singing ten German bombers, affecting the proper fans again. I must admit I've done a few England aways, and there's never been any trouble. But bit like when we get to a cup final and you hear stories of how these "Super Blues" haven't been able to attend for the last 27 years, big occasions etc...

Happens with every nation. Unfortunately, there will always be idiots acting like fools. A ban is the right thing to do, because it should hopefully stop The FA and the Met doing stupid things like hoping "it'll all be okay". Disappointingly, it's ruined all hopes for England getting the World Cup in 2030.
