We need Sturridge

We need someone in badly. We have pretty much **** all by way of someone leading the line and being a threat up front.
 

We need pace and service. The striker issue is less pertinent.

We have the Yak and Becks, but Moyes chooses to play the useless Anichebe up front. So even if we did get a Sturridge, what's to say he'd not put him in the unfamiliar 4-5-1 or not play him?
 
We certainly need someone, but it will mean nothing if the middle boys don't create anything. Just heard Moyes say both blackburn pens were dives. Brilliant.
 

If we dont sign a striker before the window shuts we are taking one hell of a gamble , its been more or less proven in just 2 games , and with injuries/suspensions it will only get worse as the months go by .
 
Would be the deal of the last 15 years but I can't see it happening. I'm not saying Moyes shouldn't use every waking second trying to make it happen though. Imagine - if we had money we'd have N'Zogbia right now and possibly would have been able to stump up a good enough fee to get sturridge in on loan. Money is the difference. We can't keep running forever.

Beckford is well better.
 
We have two capable, proven Premier League strikers in the Yak and Beckford. No need to go about paying an expensive loan fee.
