Player Valuation: £25m
If villa win the carling cup on sunday that means they take one europa league place.

If Chelsea get knocked out of the fa cup then, the team that wins the fa cup also gets into the europa league.

meaning only 5th place in the league would qualify for europe unless they had already qualified through winning the carling/fa cup. usually one of the top4 win the fa cup and carling cup meaning 5/6/7 all make the uefa cup but this season there may be only 1 place.

Even with our good form, we are still some pace off the likes of spurs and villa. I think fellaini will be a massive loss to us

My fear is without european football pienaar and rodwell may leave, if the right club came in for them.

15-20m for rodwell and moyes would have to think about selling, i cant see him persuading him if the likes of manu or chelsea come along, they both have ageing players and he would be a regular at those clubs in just a season or 2.

pienaar I think is holding out for a decent champions league side, or else he would have signed already, similar to the jermaine beckford story, if a decent team come in for him he will leave or else he will stay put.

I think you're wrong.

Don't listen to any media campaign that "says" we have to sell our players.

There are still plenty of ifs - in your post above.

Exactly. We could still win the title, mathematically. Or we may still end up fighting for survival.

Pienaar and Rodwell are not leaving and we will likely qualify for Europe again.

Lots of if's there, pure speculatory speculation that, I wonder if I click those scales some red dots will appear ?

[Poor language removed] 1st post, make your 2nd better lid cos that wasn't really worth the hassle of signing up for.

1) the rs wont make the final, without torres they can score, and if u cant score u cant win

2) looking at our debts we are at the same stage we were when we had to sell rooney football - finances org uk/everton/debt2 htm

3) id rather us go a year without european football then go bust. look at "football finances org uk" our income is decreasing and our debts are increasing, partly due to bigger contracts being paid out and largley due to loans BK takes out, we dont even pay back the loans only the interest.

you have to think to the future, we will have to somehow come up with around 100m at least for a new stadium, Id rather have our club relatively debt free, rather be in the siuation of the rs or glazers. I doubt any billionaires will take a gamble on a premier league club for a few years until the financial climate changes considering the mess pompey are in.

No. Because in 2004 we were at the bottom end of the table.

As Moyes said, we're at the top end now.

And also. Those debts of the RS or glazers' have no value = The debt was not incurred for any net increase in revenue.

With Everton, we could incur debt on a stadium... but massively change the existing business model.

i.e. the debt would have VALUE - incurred investing bricks/mortar and a method of increasing revenue generation.

BASCIALLY, I think you're clutching at straws looking for reasons to make us sell a player we really don't need to sell.

This.

We've just beaten the top 2 teams in the country, get some positivity in ya

so why is it bk keeps on taking out loans then, and where has all of our money gone from the past 5 years.

Our money spent on transfers has virtually come from our players sold in the last 5 years. so what has happened to the tv and matchday and sponserhip revenue, and why does BK keep on taking out more loans.

and another thing is I make it outside the top4 we would have been the best team to invest in, so why have no buyers ever made a formal offer.

virtually half of the premier league has more money to spend then we do, even relegation sides come up and spend more then we do, where has all of our money gone??????????????
