Stats are useful. Since this has come in, Hibbert has really improved and levelled up on "enchanting" and "illusion spells" whereas Osman has improved his light armour and one-handed attacks, allowing him to become a level 32 warrior.

Is Royston Drenthe on a quest to destroy Luis Suarez's ring by bumming him into the firey depths of mount doom?

With KKKenny crying about his "precious" ?

There's always limits on the amounts of information you can processs.

All they do is develop INDICATORS and METRICS (metrics are a combination of two or more metrics).

These are usually mathematically expressed.

The analytics department staff then just look for KEY METRICS to bring this to the attention of the coaching staff.

This is nothing new. Its used in economics, science, engineering and any form of analysis.

Its just a tool. To look at performance. It takes more and more interpetation depending on what you're looking for.

Indicator example = player height

Metric example = number of headers won

( = sum [player height x weight x jumping ability ...]

Etc

Jen Chang was at Finch Farm this week, regarding the analytics - he will have a report on ESPN soon..

Wow. Good to know. I'll try and post if I see it (although did you mean Sports Illustrated?).
