We finish 4th when Rooney left us for Man u

Can the same happen again for us? This club has been hurt again, Man u wanted Rooney and got him, then they wanted Moyes and got him. I want this to stop. We have a great team, just need something extra.

No, we don't have Rooney any more.
To be fair, they couldn't keep hold of Neville, Howard, Gibson or Saha when we came wading in with offers, so swings and roundabouts.

I personally think we could of got top 4 next season if moyes stayed and was given a chunk of cash. There's a basis of a very strong team here. Get the new manager right and some cash to spend and we could do it.

It's all about the money...money...money !!

i think we could have got fourth if we would have carried on playing the footy we played yesterday. We started playing like that then it trailered off in about November.

Impossible for us to play like that every week tho, every player was on top form apart from Vic. It just doesn't happen. And there lies the difference between us and the teams above, when not on form or its not happening they have that world class player that bale's them out (see what I did there) or 2/3 top players on the bench to change it.

The old money and squad depth again...it's our downfall!!
