Everton Football Club have run through my veins for a long long time and i would never change a single thing of being a Evertonian..
But could you imagine playing at Goodison Park and scoring against your own beloved team .. that is what a player would feel ..total Pride
Its football..
But never happened and never will.. saying that i have hugged Dixie Dean and Alan Ball ... For me two of our greatest ever players and even offered to buy Dixie a pint and sort of advised Alan Ball sign for us .....
Fair play must have been amazing scoring at any stadium especially at your beloved club wouldn't be able to buy anyone a bloody pint at the moment haha never mind dixie

We’ve done it to ourselves though. It’s the clubs fault they have all the stupid records and capitulations on their record. Had plenty of chances to put them to rest and all.

I don't mind Shearer and Wright. Best memory of Wright was him missing a total sitter in front of the Gwladys Street in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in 97 and him getting some harmless banter and being applauded whilst looking at the Street End instead of the abuse he would've got at other grounds for such a terrible miss.

MOTD best goals
Ian Wright chooses a goal he scored against us
Alan Shearer chooses a goal he scored against us
Can't argue with Shearer, that was one of the best ever PL goals.
Wright scored a good goal, awesome control and great finish.

I know they will be biased up here but Shearer has a good reputation up here since he finished. A good laugh, happy to tell stories and very generous to any local charities/causes. Seems he’s a good egg.

We never seem to be on the list of greatest goals
Which is odd, because we seem to have a tradition of scoring absloutely fantastic goals in the last home game of the season. Just off the top of my head, Horne V Wimbledon, Bily V Portsmouth, Beckford V Chelsea, Farrelly V Coventry, Cahill V Newcastle, Barkley V Watford, and many more.

We never seem to be on the list of greatest goals

Even during the prem era of us being horrifically awful we’ve still scored some absolute worldies. Name a better goal scored at Anfield than Jagielka’s (it was the last minute as well!). 26 year old Rooney ending Arsenal’s unbeaten run, Howard’s goal against Bolton, Barry Horne and Farrelly in the great escapes, fastest goal in the cup final ever, Guardiola’s heaviest defeat, denying United the title at Old Trafford in the 4-4.

Yeah we’ve been crap but we’re premier league royalty regardless.
