He's a complete tool. But like leon I no longer care. All I care about is that he never plays for Everton again. I'd rather have Steven Gerrard at Everton than Rooney. At least he'd be honest about why he was there.

I don't particularly care for Rooney but he never would have had the championships, fame, sponsorships, or the massive piles of money if he had stayed at Everton. I like to believe he would have stayed at Everton if we were one of the top 2 or 3 clubs in England at the time but who knows. He probably would have left ManU as well earlier this season if they hadn't given him the huge new contract so it's not like he has any loyalty to them. He's only loyal to money. That's certainly not an admirable quality but it doesn't surprise me either. He's no different than the vast majority of footballers.
