Watching epl on tv in the US - what happened

So I just noticed there are no matches on the extra channels (I have direct TV). What is the story here? I read something about the NBC pass that will show 130 matches, but that leaves about 200 other matches - many of which will likely include Everton.

Is there no option to get 100 percent of the EPL fixtures in the US this year?

If so, that really, really sucks.

someone at NBC made a terrible choice and mirrored the old Fox design. They're owned by Comcast so going full internet would devalue the archaic world of subscription cable. Cable needs to die.

Yeah, NBC cancelled the spillover channels with Dish/DirectTV and others and now is offering a NBCSports Gold Pass for 50$ where they will show games, but not all games. Their decision sucks the collective johnson.

As you probably figured out by now, you can say PL or "Premier League" but saying EPL is like saying ANFL or ANBA, the American National Football League or the American National Basketball Association. Sorry to be didactic.
