In the last few weeks, many welcome advances have been made in finally proving the truth of what happened at Hillsborough.​
Even though they were not in power at the time, our current government has picked up the baton and handled the issue superbly.(How did that get past the proof readers)


In the 1987 general election, Thatcher won an unprecedented third term in office. But controversial policies, including the poll tax and her opposition to any closer integration with Europe, produced divisions within the Conservative Party which led to a leadership challenge. In November 1990, she agreed to resign and was succeeded as party leader and prime minister by John Major
 

Bizarre... I assume they just mean that the current set of ministers - as in the actual people - didn't hold government positions at the time.

Still a pretty bad blooper.
