I'm talking with reference to Martinez. I will be the first to admit that I wanted him out as the form was bad and the chelsea and bournemouth late throwaways were in particularly bad. but in hindsight maybe we should have kept him.

If he did manage to fix the defensive difficulties we had then the football at times was great. We would often dominate teams and it was a lot more exciting to watch than what we have now. I just feel with the backing of moshiri he would have done much better than we have now.

I think his first season was exciting. Attacking football. However season 2 onwards was sideways possession football that also did our heads in.

The correct answer is.
" @davek is always right, even when he's wrong"

Yes of course @davek was right. We had a potentially great manager who could have taken us to the promised land. We bailed and ditched him to be replaced by a great Dutch fraud.

You only talk about him (RM) because we are crapper now than we were under him, we were still really sh1t. Just because we are worse does not make him the saviour.
