As I do a lot of hill walking and I couldn't seem to find a thread about it, I thought I'd start one.

In the next few weeks I am going to try and do this walk: www.walkingenglishman.com/northyorkshire11

Starting to get some preparation for July when I am walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.

But for anyone who already enjoys it and anyone that is interested; post any suggested walks in here, any tips and advice, pictures and routes.

Brecon beacons for me. Just choose any route up to and down from the peaks. I've done most of them in most weathers and its a joy every time.

Before my knees and feet packed in that is. Enjoy the outdoors while you can. :(
I had to take a bit of time off last year due to a bad knee. Hurting as I was coming down hill. Seems to have cleared up now after a bit of physio.

My favourite of the Brecon Beacons:

Have taken kids from school up those peaks over the last 30 years. For some reason the course leaders never use the name of that particular peak! lol
