Walker + Naughton

Remember when we almost signed Naughton only for Harry Redknapp to gazump us with a bid for both....

Rumour has it that Moyes could have matched the bid but out of principle at Sheff Utd moving the goalposts on an agreed deal decided to pull out....

Naughton seems to have totally stagnated whereas Walker has looked like a very good player -- today I read hes scored for Spurs so now perhaps after a couple of good seasons with youth on his side would be classed as a possible England player ?

Makes you wonder why Moyes went for Naughton rather than Walker+ what may have happened if we'd got Naughton...

Walker has been very impressive for Villa and Spurs and Naughton has been doing ok for Norwich.

Walker certainly appears to be a much better right back than anyone we have at the club.
