I don't yet know if it's been confirmed but I got told tonight that Osian Roberts, technical director of the welsh F.A. has been offered the managers job for a temporary period. Osian was one of top coaches on Gary Speeds coaching team and was always next to Gary offering advice at the games.
On a personal level, I wish osh all the best. I did my first coaching badges under osian when he worked in the same leisure centre as I did 20 years ago, he took over the football development officers job from Chris Evans who went on to great coaching roles in the pro game , he was youth director at wolves and was credited for bringing through a young jolean lescott amongst others, chris then went on to become Bolton asistant manager under Gary Megson and has continued to work alongside Gary at other clubs. Osian was a fantastic coach who I believe earned his top badges over in america before coming back to wales and settling on anglesey to take the role at anglesey leisure centres. Due to his hard work and dedication he has worked his way up over the years and is now the top man in the welsh set up having coaches such as Ian Rush and Dean Saunders working under him.
