Wiggins had a huge stage today, beasting all of the big boys up the final climb. With the time trial tomorrow he stands a great chance of taking the red jersey. If he carries on climbing like he did today he could well be our first ever grand tour winner. Cmon Brad.

Well in Wiggins. I've been watching the highlights of this from the off. What's with the constant 20%+ last km finshes??!!

I've never liked the Vuelta, tbh. The scenery is mind numbing, and the quality of field is usually pretty poor.

Aye, visually the Vuelta isn't really much to look at, but they have put in an interesting parcours this year. Lots of hill top finishes. I didn't think it would suit Wiggins really, like you say there are lots of steep ramps to get over, but he looked really strong today, with some tremendous help from Froome. The Vuelta field is probably the weakest of the three GTs, but you have to think he'd have done well at the Tour if he was climbing like that.

Watched the final two days of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado.

Lots of big names there. Levi Leipheimer won it. Kinda neat seeing them go through Dillon CO on their way to Breckenridge yesterday. Been up and down those roads several times

Wiggins does look juiced up on roids

On a more serious note, Wiggins is 1st at the first split. Looks like he's on a stormer. Fancy him for red in an hours time.
