Vogel and Pienaar Set For Medicals

We have good reason to believe that both Johann Vogel and Steven Pienaar will arrive on Merseyside today to undergo medicals ahead of proposed transfers to Everton.

Vogel was due to arrive Yesterday to undergo his medical examination but failed to turn up after confusion prompted by Real Betis President Manuel Ruiz de Lopera.

Pienaar

Pienaar is class, seen him play a few times. Any ideas what the first choice midfield will be? Pienaar, Vogel, Arteta, Cahill? Or will VDM get another chance?

Would be tremendous if both came, but I'm not going to get too excited yet since players have bummed out before at late stages to sign for others and medicals have been failed and it might be conjecture as well...
