What a day.

I was shaking before the match. Might have been the fever, might have been nerves. Maybe both, but at the end I was bouncing around like Wayne Rooney on the set of a Shreddies advert.

For it's all good now. Never in my life time have I had the pleasure of seeing our lads take such a huge, steaming dump on the RS, and like all great dumps, it felt great. Long may it continue too.

Spurs? Bah? Sure, they've got VDV. But we've got a Nigerian battering ram, an Australian talisman and an English/Polish lion. We can take them, and we can smash them too. Because we're Everton.

I love this club, I love its players and I love you guys. :D

and no, I'm not even drunk.

I was shaking too. Was really ill this morning, and not all of it was the nerves. For the first time in a long time, Everton made me feel much better. :D

You won't understand just how much todays result meant to me, todays game was much more than a derby to me, it was personal and it feels sooooooooooooooooooooo good xx

Glad you enjoyed it, Lynne. As Sir Tim said, today was for the fans. Message and gift received, oh great Australian one. We love you too.

It is a hell of a thing when 33 year old centre back Jamie Carragher covering right back for them is their most advanced player. Not just once either.
We showed bottle, character and desire today. Not a vintage show, but a show of guts and determination, and that is what every side needs first, because without the will to work and the will to win all the silky football in the world will get you nowhere.
Going to be a sad day for us when Cahill calls time, just seems to know where the ball will go as he lines up to slot/head home. Priceless. Steven Pienaar I hope you were watching.

I just knew we'd win today, they are so poor, and they are now being found out for what they are.

The RS luck that they have been living on for the last ten years at least, is finally running out. I just feel that this is the season when fortunes finally turn on Merseyside.

ITS ON!!!!
