Vitor Pereira watch: did Evrton goof choosing Lampard?

In hindsight should Everton have gone for Pereira over Lampard?

Pereiras done a good job at galvanising a team who were too good to go down. But really next season and the one after will be the evidence of how good a manager he is.

He's the type of manager who seems to have the passion to gee up a team. But is he the manager with the tactical ability and longevity to do it long term? That's up for debate and perhaps his career record suggests not.

Really starting to like this fella, seems a decent down to earth bloke.

Have to do more research in future, because I was dead against us going for him, although not so much that I got a hold of the black spray paint.

I missed much of that at the time. Thought the hate was something political,as if he'd come out as pro Israel or something.

He’s a good manager, he just shouldn’t have done that interview with Sky after being screened for the job, that’s what done him
