My arl foreman in Christchurch played against us in the 80's on a tour of NZ, it was something like NZ were playing us in Ch/ch and his club had the team as ballboys (somewhat overaged ones) and something happened like injuries that left nz short so he was 1 of a couple drafted in, he reckons the after party was unreal.
I've tried to find pics of that tour to no avail.
he said game was at QE2 in Chritchurch.
