First of all, I don't know if I posted this thread in the right section. But here we go :)

Me and some mates from Holland have planned to make a trip overseas and watch the game against arsenal at Goodison park (19-3).

I've been looking up information about the ticketsale for this match but still have a few questions and hope you guys can provide us with some answers.

We're going to visit Goodison park with a group of 6 and prefer to have seats next to each other (or 2x3 for example). Now there's an option to buy a foreverton overseas membership, is it really required for all of us to buy this membership or do we still have a good chance to get tickets if we await the general sale (and keep the 6x20 pounds in our pockets for more :pint2: :p )?

Thanks alot for your help and see you in a month!

Cheers

Thanks!

But is it really neccesary for us to get a foreverton membership or are the chances to get tickets for this match just as good if we await the general sale?

I've never been to Goodison. But I know some friends who have been to premier league matches. They said it's nearly impossible to get tickets at general sale. You have to buy the membership or can try to get some tickets at the black market

You'll be fine on general sale mate, you won't get them together though. I doubt you would even if you bought the memberships but just keep an eye on the sale dates and you'll be ok.

Keep an eye out for when they go on General Sale, then get in early and you'll be fine! If you don't mind "obstructed view" you'll probably get 2x3 at the worst. Enjoy!

Little bit confused now haha

For us it doesn't really matter if we get 3x2 or 2x3 tickets. As long as we get into the ground ;)

Our biggest concern is if we are able to get tickets if we await the general sale. But that wouldn't be much of a problem?

Speaking of pre-match bevys, which pub do you guys recommend before the match?

It may be well worth emailing the club now, explain your scenario and see what the can do. I'm sure they'll help you out.
Already did that, but the reply was a standard overview of ticketsale dates and memberships etc. Things I already knew from visiting the website.

That surprises me TBH I'd of thought as a one off visit from a foreign land they'd of helped you out.

I'm 99.9999999999999% certain an early kick off on tv over here will go to general sale. You'll get in but I'm just not sure you'll get all the seats together or in what configuration.
