Anyone play these things?

I can imagine quite a few people lose there money on them every 5 minutes a race.

Was in the bookies putting a bet on and some guy was throwing a £5 a race on saying he walks away everyday with a profit following a "system"

Now im sure he is talking poop, but does anyone have little quirks/systems etc to be these things?
 

works the same way as online poker sites.

no funny system just the odd pattern here and there then it goes dry. like all gambling you remember the wins not the loses until they are heavy.
 
Anybody stood in a betting shop talking about systems is an epic bullshizzler. If he had a system he wouldn't be in there putting a skydiver on!!!

The only system that works in that industry is owning the shop.

Wow, that's actually correct. Why on earth would they be shouting in the shop about a system when they should be doing it themself.

I think Virtual is fixed anyways, you always win your first bet then you put it all on again and lose.
I'm 200quid up today from Horses!

Anythin to do with machines ( Roulette, Virtual racing, slots ) they are programmed to win. Might pay out 90% of what they take in, but its a machine programmed to win for the bookmaker.

No system can beat it.
 
Used a fobt once. Got stung, badly.
Lucky I realised this could spell trouble for someone who punts in the manner I do. Never touched one since.

I only go into a high street bookies to put on my Irish lottery, always look at the stakes they are playing for on the fobt and its scary stuff to watch sometimes.
 
I miss going the bookies years ago with no machines in there. Was a lot easier to come out with a profit. Now with all the bookies being stocked with machines it's mad hard to not have a go on em between races, need will power. Seeing as i have none my only defence against gambling addiction is not to go in at all. To sum up, machines / virtual races have ruined the bookies.
