having the word 'virgin' is enough
to show there inexperienced for me
i fly high with the sky lid.

Crap and has been that way for the last few years, binned then last October after getting fed up with there scripted bull, everything ends with but you will not get these speeds anywhere else , even if you are complaining that you never get the speed its throttled to high heaven and the latency is a joke. try talking to them like you have a more than basic understanding of the workings of the net(nerd speak)and they go to bits.
One cheeky tit told me to email in after they had charged me for an upgrade they had given me and I had the paperwork to prove it, guess what they don't have an email contact only live chat or phone, that was it in the bin they went.
Just cancelled it for my mum yesterday, didn't even try and defend there service when I got the follow up call , just admitted they had on going problems in the l4 area and had done for a long time, I had been told month after month it was getting fixed never is, just same [Poor language removed] test your speed, yep , here we go again.
Actually feel a bit sorry for the some of there staff when you get through to the uk as they seem as if they have given up trying to defend it, shame as they were really decent for a long time,

Swerved the Virgin mings last year as the bill kept going up every few months for this super fast Internet that seemed no faster than usual all for £74 a month, I got basically the same TV package from sky with more kids channels (the only reason I pay for it) and guess what? The Internet speed seems the exact same all for £25ish a month ( got it cheaper by seeing a broadband fella in currys)

Had an engineer out a few weeks ago due to phone problems and crap tv picture. He said all the cables were submerged in water and the that is corroding the casings and connectors, so the problem will persist. Will BT be any better?

I was with Sky from when it started up until about 10 months ago, was getting pestered by Virgin as they were geared up for our area.

Phoned Sky as deal was coming to an end to see what they would offer me, absolute ziltch, explained I would defect to Virgin if nothing was forthcoming, they still wouldn't budge.

Fast forward to present,I'm now with Virgin, their broadband has been good but their TV is mince, slow as hell, I'm getting grief off the missus because it is so slow and guess what? Sky are now bombarding me with mail offering 60% off because " They miss me "

Roll on til' the end of the contract and I will take Sky up on their kind but all too late offer, bar stewards.
