Not the greatest year, but 97 was arguably the last really good year. Good albums for Oasis, Cast, Ocean Colour Scene, Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers, The Verve, The Prodigy, Alanis Morisette, Stereophonics, The Seahorses, and Kula Shaker.
