Now I've joked quite a lot that I'd like WWE owner Vincent Kennedy McMahon to take over Everton. Knowing full well that it would be a terrible idea.

And today I see a hell of a lot of rumours that he's interested in Newcastle!!

Would I want him at Everton? Would I heck.

Would I want him at a joke club like Newcastle? Oh hell yes.

Can only be entertaining.

I'd love it if every couple of years for the next 4 decades, someone reignites this just to wind up Mike Ashley. Getting really narked that he has to say it's not true every 24 months

This is in no way a real news story. What i htink has happened is a 5 year old (at least) news story has been found by someone, brought back up and now it seems like it is a credible news worthy piece.

Just ask yourself one question, why would the owner of the biggest wrestling company in the world want to buy a football club in England? They already tour stadiums round the country, they have no affiliation with any football teams here (or Soccer teams there) and for the money they would spend on the club there would be no profit whatsoever, compared to the newly released WWE network which will make millions when it hits off.

To be fair to vince, he did turn wwe into a billion dollar coporation, hes actually seems to be a boss buisnessman.

Probably just a rumour but Would be mental to see him own a club, would imagine he'd cheese it up big time like they do in the states around there teams
