bad decade for the guy, his wife died in 2002, his son died in 2004, his dad died in 2011 and now he is dead.

He wasnt with Villareal when they went down, he had been sacked earlier in the season by Sporting despite five or so years of heroic defiance against reality, culminating of course in them famously beating Real Madrid in Madrid last season.
