Amazing how capitalism works, and how most sellers can attract a buyer at the correct market value. Wonder why we haven't been sold ?

So Learner spent over £300m, the vast majority was cash into the club/team, and he is selling for £200m.

Several things to note:

Price for the club is substantially higher than Everton

Villa's P&L account (profit and loss) is significantly worse than Everton's despite similar revenues

For the buyer the Villa balance sheet is far healthier than Everton's - little debt (Lerner converted most debt into equity) and assets such as their ground plus several pockets of land and buildings in the immediate area.

Much greater investment required @Villa on the field than at Everton, but much less required off it.

Would be an interesting commercial decision looking at both clubs (assuming we were for sale)
