As part of our 'Views From The Opposition' feature, several Stoke City fans have answered our series of questions ahead of Evertons upcoming Premiership encounter with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday.

Further opinions from Stoke City fans will be published in the run up to Sundays match.

1) Not a bad start to the season with 3 points from 3 games and progression in the Carling Cup. What are your expectations for this season?

Jamo
As long as we stay up it will be party time in Stoke come May.

markscfc72
Expecting long hard season, maybe finish 15th?

Chirper
Expect the worst and anything after that is a Brucie bonus.

2) 10 new recruits including three on deadline day, costing £20million, surely your clubs summer activities lived up to your expectations?

Jamo
Still trying to get my head around how much we've spent! We signed good experienced players that have improved our squad. Would have ideally liked an extra front man.

markscfc72
yes, around £20m is what i had in mind although we could of done with another striker and wide player

Chirper
Still reeling from the amount of cash splashed.

3) Who do you think is your most important player(s)

Jamo
Still same as last year really, Fuller and Lawence, although I think Abdoulaye Faye will be an important player for us.

markscfc72
Fuller and Lawrence

Chirper
The 11 that start the next game.

4) Your worst player(s)

Jamo
Got rid of most of them, on the whole most of the lads who will get near the first XI are ok by me.

markscfc72
Buxton + Pericard

Chirper
Vincent Periwincle.
5) Do you have any exciting young prospects that we wouldn't know about?

Jamo
We don't if I'm honest, couple of young full backs (Dickinson especially) who are real 100%-ers but perhaps the Prem has come too soon for them.

markscfc72
maybe Wilkinson and Dickinson the 2 young full backs although havent quite cut it yet

Chirper
Wilko and Dicko

6) Do you have any chants that require an explanation?

Jamo
People normally ask about Delilah which there are a few stories about how it became "our" song. "We'll be with you" is from our 1972 League Cup win.

markscfc72
Probably not

Chirper
No. But you may hear the odd mention of the pub team down the road Poor Fail.

7) Could you give any advice such as suggesting an appropriate pub for away fans?

Jamo
Stay out of the towns, Harvester next to ground can be ok for away fans(apparently don't go myself)

markscfc72
only really powerleague or harvester close to the ground, you could try stoke town center but DO NOT wear colours and keep yoursevles to yoursleves

Chirper
Stopped drinking so dont know but i hear the town centre is a no no.

8) What do you think of Evertons summer activities?

Jamo
Surprisingly quiet given last season being another good year, Toffees must worry about Moyes everytime a manager leaves a club.

markscfc72
probably same as you think, not as good as you were hoping for?

Chirper
????? Who have you bought.

9) Where do you think Everton will finish in the league?

Jamo
Not as high as last year, maybe 8th?

markscfc72
8th

Chirper
7th

10) Which Everton player(s) do you fear the most?

Jamo
Cahill, I know he's been injured but I hear he may be back for our game so he's nailed on to score.

markscfc72
The Yak, Osman, Cahill

Chirper
The Australian lad Cahill.

11) Finally, What do you think the score will be? If you are feeling brave, name the scorers!

Jamo
1-0 to Stoke, scrappy game won with a bit of Fuller brilliance.

markscfc72
1-0 stoke fuller

Chirper
2-0 Stoke, Cort, Fuller. Hopes and prays.
