What do you prefer and why?

I must say I’m diehard physical less it’s an indie or something. I wish I could say it’s so I can trade, swap with friends, etc etc all the pros. But i think it’s purely just superficial for me.

It started of with me reasoning that paying 50+ doll hairs for something not tangible is crazy. But now psn do great deals and I’d still prefer to pay more for physical. I like them on my shelf I like going into town and in the store just like I did as a kid.

All very futile and ridiculous I know but I can’t let go. Even playing a triple A digital I can’t even I enjoy it that much as daft as that sounds.

Anyone else like that?

You youngsters, I am the same with Vinyl and CD's

I was like that but I listen to my music mostly on the go so it’s very very impractical when it comes to music. The future is horrible isn’t it you always lose something when you gain.

I like both, to be honest - I've always been drawn to having the actual stuff, be it DVDs, CDs, books, games or whatever (plus I'm still not completely comfortable with the idea of being at the mercy of an internet connection), but I now have so many of these things it's often a pain to hunt around to find them. Plus I like the aspect of digital where I can just start playing a game, film or whatever without messing around and finding and loading a disc. Lately I've definitely been buying more digital stuff as I can have it available more or less immediately and postal deliveries, understandably, have been patchy. I tend to buy quite a few digital Xbox games when sales/deals etc are happening.

I use all forms but there is nothing like owning (with lyric sheet enclosed(

FF7 remake is £59.99 digital...

Much prefer physical to be honest, like to collect steel books, special editions of films and games I really like. Besides, there is always the choice to sell something you don’t like or borrow to friend for them to enjoy.

Physical every time

I find it scandalous that they can actually charge more for the digital version of a game than a physical copy - £60 for FF7? It was being sold for less than £40 on disc on pre order - How they can justify this when manufacturing costs, distribution, physical packaging doesn't exist is pathetic

Plus, you also get the added bonus of trading in your games once you've completed them for something new (i.e once we're all allowed to leave the house again i'll trade in Death Stranding and Spiderman for FF7 and get it for a few quid)

I like the physical copies. Games used to come with some posters and some game manuals were more than just a manual (in some cases it was like a backstory to the game itself). I've drifted over to digital copies nowadays though since game developers don't really care for that anymore.
