Some great memories of Vic pounding the turf in frustration. I thought he had quite a good spell when Moyes played him out wide, and was handy in some European games. Wouldn't be thrilled to see him back though!.

He pounded the turf because he had to make the effort to get back up. In fact that was his only effect on the pitch. Down there with the worst and probably looking up to them

heard he had the worst attitude at everton. Apparently when he played for Nigeria for the first time he came back into training talking to yakubu and yobo in nigerian!!!! crackpot

Except Nigerian isn't a language ....

reckon if he'd been developed under someone less attack averse than moyes he could have been a decent prem striker

You are right. Remember an interview where he said, having lived in England since he was twelve months, 'yes but I feel Nigerian' how does that work? I dont feel English, i just am.

probably cause his family spoke/cooked Nigerian etc?
