Been suffering from this most of the week. If you've never had it, consider yourself lucky. It's a pain in the arse. Anyone else get this? I get it once a year, or every 18 months or so. Hard to function.

My mum does. It's NOT a fear of heights as some people think.

Prochlorperazine (Stematil) prescription?

Been taking an OTC motion sickness medication. And doing some Epley maneuvers. It's bad in the morning and gets better as the day goes on.

I seem to get it when I'm about to throw up or I'm really drunk (the two are usually mutual). Whether this is normal or not I don't know.

Commiserations mate. I remember having an episode a long time ago and was told at the time it's something to do with chalky deposits in the inner ear that get out of whack*. All of which may have been complete bollocks to get me out of the surgery.

*Not the medical technical term.

Grouch, I learned today that peopleon statins should not eat grapefruit as it causes leg cramps ??

I await your explanation as to why please ?? is it due to acidity or something ?

Had it once, turned out it was caused by a combination of an ear and sinus infection.
Apparently Van Gogh was prone to it too. His remedy was a tad over the top though.
