Anyone suffer from it? Any think to help could be a whole host of things i know but just wondering anyone had it and know anything that can help?

can be very annoying when a attack comes on, cant do much else...

what was the reason for yours if you did have it?

basically feels like am on a boat most of the time and am pretty sure im not actually on a boat...

Doesn’t sound like an inner ear problem where you’re more likely to experience a spinning sensation. You get palpitations? Arrhythmias can cause lightheadedness. Or could be something more exotic like this:

.....too much pacing up and down dockside waiting for news on the new stadium :)

No dont get palps, dont think its anixety based as i have no other symptoms just literally the feeling like am swaying on a boat ( hard to describe tbh)

hopefully it clears up eventually most things you read say it will eventually what ever itis

Still best to get checked over, mate. These things are usually benign and self-limiting but the reassurance a competent medical examination can give is one of the perks of living in this fine country!

I've had inner ear problems which I had for 12 months about 20 years ago causing balance and tinnitus problems but it went as quickly as it came and I've had no problems since.

Have you read up on labyrinthitis.

Go by itself? You find anything that helped?
yer mate read up on that read up on every possible outcome haha

Yes. I have the ‘lemming’ vertigo in which I want to throw myself off anything higher than 3ft.

Somewhat crapply my hip is going so I can’t carry anything downstairs. Literally get stuck half down waiting for my missus to save me.

Had something similar a few years ago on and off for months. Turned out to be a combination of a sinus infection which had then led to a build up of mucus in my middle ear, ( eustacian tube ? ) which, as well as the feeling of being on a boat that you describe, also meant that when I moved my head from side to side in a quiet environment I could hear like a crackling sound at the back of head.

Nasal steroids sorted my sinuses out, and once they were OK, my middle ears slowly sorted themselves out because they could drain properly. The downside of that was that my hearing improved and I was more aware of being nagged at home.

I've got a real fear of heights, but I guess you dont mean vertigo like that?
Even walking up stairs that dont have the rise bit, just the flat bit bends my head
