Is it wrong to eat it?

I'll be honest and say I've had it once. I ordered in Greece thinking I was ordering chicken. It's got a very odd texture. I don't think I would ever knowingly order it

It seems a cruel way to produce meat but then again I eat KFC and the chickens they use for that live in awful conditions as well

Thoughts?

Any veal connosuers among us who love it?

Nothing wrong with Veal, what is wrong is that male calves produced as a result of building the dairy industry are being killed and discarded because there is such a negative reception to Veal.

I see nothing wrong at all in the consumption of meat products.

Those calves can still be eaten

There has been a bit of a surge in "humane" veal providers as well. It can be done, it just costs more, so most meat farmers decide it's cheaper to cull

Of course they can still be eaten, that's what is so wrong with it all, they don't get eaten because there is such a negative perception about veal and it's generally so expensive.
